How to claim your missing KrisFlyer miles from Scoot?

Some Scoot passengers notice that miles are missing from their KrisFlyer accounts.

Indeed, this can happen to anyone, and on any airline. Fortunately, unintentional errors in mileage accreditation can be corrected. The airline in question checks the passenger’s balance and recent activities on the loyalty account to identify the missing miles and reverse the points to the account.

When should you report missing miles from your account?

Indeed, after each reservation or purchase that allows you to earn KrisFlyer miles (this could be a flight reservation, an upgrade purchase, excess baggage, a car rental, a hotel room, etc.), you must wait between six weeks and two months for the miles to be credited to the account. After this period, you will have the right to report the missing miles in your account by submitting a claim to Scoot KrisFlyer customer service.

Where the error results in fewer points being accumulated than the customer should have accumulated, Scoot will acknowledge the missing points by crediting them to the customer’s Krisflyer account.

How to claim your missing miles?

Scoot offers you the option to submit your retroactive miles request online, exclusively from your KrisFlyer account.

When you log in to your Scoot Krisflyer account, you will notice a section titled “Make a claim.” Click on it to add the flight that was not credited.

– Enter the flight details:

Fill in the form fields by entering:

– Flight number booked with Scoot

– Flight date

– Electronic ticket number

– Booking class

Submit your request. An acknowledgment will appear confirming that the claim has been submitted. The missing miles should appear in your account within a few days.

Claim miles for flights booked after joining the KrisFlyer loyalty program? At Scoot, you can request retroactive miles for flights booked within the last 30 days prior to joining the loyalty program.

By following the same procedure described above, you can submit your request to Scoot, which will refund the miles after reviewing your case.

This procedure can also be followed for all flights taken within the last six months.

Miles not credited due to changes or modifications to member contact information

Each member is required to immediately update their account information if their contact information changes. This will ensure they continue to receive miles after each booking or purchase of an eligible service/product.

Failing to do so, they will have no recourse against the airline and will be solely responsible for the loss of their miles, particularly if they fail to make a claim within the allotted timeframe.

Claiming missing miles is impossible in some cases

FlyScoot stresses that the complaint of retroactive miles does not apply to group reservations or charter flight reservations.
