Singapore Airlines: Its policy and restrictions applicable to checked baggage

Whenever Singapore Airlines passengers are flying with this airline, they should always check its baggage policy, i.e., inquire about the limits in terms of the number of pieces, their weight, and their dimensions. Otherwise, any excess means they must pay a surcharge before boarding.

Most passengers are concerned about the dimensions of their carry-on luggage, but in your case—to avoid any unpleasant surprises—you should also consider the size of the luggage you’ll be checking in.

Baggage allowance: Number, weight and size limits

Not only should you pay attention to the size of your luggage, but also its weight. You should consider the weight of your carry-on baggage and checked luggage to avoid any additional charges.

According to Singapore Airlines rules, each piece of baggage must weigh 32 kg or less and measure 162 cm or less. The number of bags a passenger is allowed to check in is determined by their ticket price, itinerary, and KrisFlyer loyalty program status.
