With Singapore Airlines’ Secure My Fare payment option, customers can now hold a booking for 72 hours before paying.
You can delay purchasing your tickets for a few days and even when you return to the Singaporeair.com booking site, there won’t be any unpleasant surprises: the prices remain the same.
Which flights are eligible for Secure My Fare?
Secure My Fare allows you to freeze the price of any ticket issued by Singapore Airlines for travel in Economy or Premium Economy class.
Also, please note that if this is your first flight booked with Singapore Airlines, your flight ticket should be booked at least 30 days before the scheduled departure date.
How do I add the Secure My Fare option to my booking?
It’s easy. When booking your flight, when you select your itinerary (specifying the departure and destination airports), and after choosing your fare (Lite, Standard, Flexi, etc.), the Secure My Fare button will appear. Click below to activate this purchase option.
Good to know:
– What’s included in booking a flight with Secure My Fare? All elements of the itinerary are included: departure airport, destination, outbound and return dates, number of passengers, and travel class.
– Except for other routes, an additional GST (K3) tax is applied to flights booked to or from a destination in India (this tax is refundable if the passenger decides to cancel their booking).
– A booking fee is added to the final amount (displayed after activating the Secure My Fare option).
– You cannot change your booking until you confirm it. This may include adding extra baggage, purchasing an upgrade, choosing a seat, etc.
– Booking fees cannot be paid with KrisFlyer miles, vouchers, or holiday vouchers; only with a card or bank transfer.
– Are there any fees for this service? Yes, of course, but the cost is not high (starting at $5).
– Your offer will be kept for 72 hours after your initial selection. What does this mean? This gives you time to calmly compare other offers similar to the one you initially selected, and thus make the best possible choice.
