Flying with emotional support animals on Singapore Airlines: Service Dog

If you’re planning to travel with Singapore Airlines, you should know that this airline allows you to transport your pet, but only in the hold. Whether you’re planning to transport a cat, dog, rabbit or bird, you should be aware that Singapore Airlines prohibits the transport of animals in the cabin.

Assistance dogs are accepted in the cabin

According to Singapore Airlines’ cabin animal policy, the airline does not accept reservations for emotional support animals, which are no longer recognized as service animals. The only non-human animals now permitted in the cabin are dogs individually trained to perform tasks or work for a person with a disability.

This service is provided free of charge on all domestic and international flights operated by Singapore Airlines and its subsidiary Scoot.

Important: If the departing flight is from a country other than Singapore, the passenger must take into account the regulations in force in that country.
