Impeccable on-board service, more than adequate catering, exceptional entertainment offerings… the Economy Class of the Singapore Airlines lives up to expectations.
In this travel class, flight booking prices (round trip) range from 960 SGD to 1400 SGD, depending on the route and travel season.
What are the seats like in economy class?

The A380 and B777, the two wide-body aircraft used on Singapore Airlines’ long-haul flights, feature three main cabins: Economy Class, Business Class, and First Class (Suites).
In Economy Class, the ground-floor cabin is divided into three zones separated by restrooms and galleys, preventing passengers from feeling crowded.
At the rear of the plane, near the stairs leading to the first floor, there’s a space where you can stretch your legs and chat with four, six, or eight people without disturbing other passengers.
Climbing the stairs is also a great opportunity to get some exercise: a short climb is very popular with those with circulatory problems.
Note: It is important to note that exit seats are not randomly assigned, but can be reserved for an additional $50.
In economy class, each seat is equipped with a headrest that’s adjustable in height and width thanks to a system of ear cushions to support the neck.
Choose your preferred seat:
As seat assignment is automatic during booking, Singapore Airlines offers you the option to change your choice if it doesn’t suit you and to choose a seat adapted to your preferences.
Services and facilities
In-flight entertainment
The highlight of this cabin remains the exceptional entertainment offerings via the KrisWorld audio-video system: over 100 movies and TV shows.
That’s not all: a wide selection of video games for children and controller addicts completes this offer, and more original, foreign language learning methods developed by Berlitz.
An individual screen
The personal table has been enlarged, offering more comfortable dining or work.
Once the table is closed, a cup holder provides a useful feature during the journey. Above the latest-generation personal screen, a headset hook helps organize the space. To complete these amenities, a large pocket with two additional storage compartments allows guests to conveniently store their books and magazines.
To recharge customers’ personal electronic devices such as laptops or tablets, electrical outlets are provided: two outlets are now installed in each row of three seats, in addition to the USB port which allows for easy charging of mobile phones.
Meals on board: Reserve yours in advance
Thanks to Book the Cook, Singapore Airlines’ online program that allows you to customize your menu and choose your meal up to 8 days before your flight. From a menu that varies depending on your departure airport, you can have access to a fresh dish tailored to your taste.
If you prefer to choose your food on board, simply scan the QR code after accessing the KrisWorld entertainment system, knowing that this access is completely free.
What is the baggage allowance for Economy Class passengers?
On all Singapore Airlines domestic and international flights, Economy Class passengers benefit from a checked baggage allowance of between 25 and 30 kg, along with a 7 kg carry-on bag.
