How to earn miles on KrisFlyer?

It’s clear that the main way to earn miles is by booking airline tickets. However, miles aren’t only earned when traveling by plane; they can be earned through purchases made with certain partner credit cards like Visa and Mastercard, booking a hotel or renting a car from a partner company, or shopping in certain stores. So, don’t forget to pay attention to the various opportunities offered by the Scoot loyalty program.

For more information, a miles calculator is accessible online, on the Scoot website.

Redeeming your miles

Have you started earning miles with Scoot and its airline partners? Congratulations, you’re just starting a long adventure! Before you can treat yourself to the flight of your dreams with just your miles, you’ll probably have to fly several times. But did you know there are many ways to make the most of your miles? Here are some ideas for how to spend them:

– An award ticket (booked 100% with miles or partially) to travel on any of the airline’s routes.

– An upgrade to ScootPlus, Scoot’s First Economy class.

– A baggage allowance.

– A car rental or stay in a car hotel.

Claiming missing miles

In the current context of loyalty programs, particularly Scoot KrisFlyer, where we mention the addition of miles for each valid booking made with Scoot or its partners, the question of claiming missing miles may arise.

Miles missing from your KrisFlyer account? This can happen either by mistake (system bug) or because the passenger forgot to provide their loyalty number when booking their flight.

Fortunately, there is a way to report this missing mileage to the loyalty program management team. Log in to your KrisFlyer account and look for the “Claim form”.

Scoot reminds its customers that this claim can only be submitted for flights operated within the last ten months or for flights booked up to thirty days before enrolling in the KrisFlyer program.

Miles expiration

In the KrisFlyer program, only points older than 3 years expire.
