If you do not have cancellation insurance and need to cancel or postpone your flight booked with Scoot, you cannot request a refund from the airline if your booking does not include the Flex Option.
What you need to know about Scoot’s Flex Plan
Scoot offers its Flex Option service to travelers who book one of its packages, including:
Flight Change:
Starting from just $15, you can change your Scoot flight reservation for free up to 4 hours before departure. This includes changing the departure date and time if the flight has not yet been booked.
Flight Cancellation:
If you need to cancel your trip, which may include booking a Scoot flight ticket, a hotel room, a car rental, or purchasing additional baggage, the Flex Option allows you to cancel your reservation and request a full refund from the Singapore airline.
Starting from just $20, you can request to cancel your Scoot flight reservation, and you have up to 4 hours to confirm your decision.
Important to know:
– The Flex Option cannot be included in flight tickets booked for infants, or for flights with connections with airlines other than Scoot and Singapore Airlines.
– The Trip Cancellation Option must be purchased within the first 24 hours of booking the flight and used more than 4 hours before departure.
– Note that the fee paid for the Flex Option purchase is non-refundable, and refunds will be issued in the original payment method.
– If your booking includes more than one passenger, you must purchase the same Flexibility Option for all travelers.
– It is important to note that there is no possibility to cancel your reservation if your flight is already booked. In this case, you also lose your right to a refund even if you have already purchased the Flex Option.
