Changi Airport prepares for SG60

Sixty years after the very first rotating holiday within the country, the National Day celebration returns to Singapore. A highlight that the Southeast Asian capital wants to mark on November 11 and 12, 2025.

On that date, people from all over will converge on Singapore, in the center of the country, for this culmination of Singapore’s 60th anniversary.

Changi Airport will be the meeting point for thousands of visitors who come to participate in the charity walk (an organized walk where participants cover a distance of 3 to 10 km to collect donations for non-profit charities).

On the sidelines of this highly anticipated event, Mr. Jayson Goh, Executive Vice President of Airport Management at Changi Airport Group, said: “I am very grateful for this experience (SG60) and honored to be a part of it”.

To celebrate this special event, renowned street artists will trade their signature instruments for aerial light displays illuminating Changi Airport Boulevard, culminating in a majestic arch adorned with the red and white national flag.

This view is a must-see. The spectacular lighting display will illuminate the city’s iconic landmarks until the end of the year. It will include the Changi Airport Control Tower, the Gardens by the Bay, the Merlion and the famous Toa Payoh Dragon playground.
