Everything about the Scoot flight boarding process

Scoot Airlines allows its passengers to check in online, via its website or mobile app, and to print their boarding passes from home. This service is available on all domestic and international flights. This saves time at the airport and allows passengers to choose their seats or add baggage if they didn’t do so when booking.

To obtain your boarding pass for your flight with Scoot, you must first check in.

Print your boarding pass

By checking in for your flight online, you’ll be able to print your boarding pass on A4 paper. Then, when you arrive at the airport, you’ll be more relaxed than other passengers because you’ll skip the line. If you’re traveling with only hand baggage, you can go directly to the boarding area. (The boarding area number is printed on your boarding pass.)

Have your Scoot boarding pass on your mobile?

Yes, by downloading it from Google or Apple Wallet. To benefit from this service, travelers must register online, on the website of the FlyScoot.com airline or on its mobile application operating under Android and iOS.

During the operation, the passenger can choose their seats themselves.

Once the recording is validated, the traveler receives an SMS or an email directly on his mobile containing his boarding pass. This electronic document contains the same information as on traditional boarding cards, including boarding time, boarding door, departure time, seat number and travel class, as well as secure computer code.

On the day of the flight, for passengers travelling with checked baggage, just go to the point “luggage” and scan the barcode sent to the phone. And if the telephone breaks down, the data remains saved in the Scoot booking system.

The passenger can then go through the self-service terminals to obtain his boarding pass or even a Scoot counter to recover his access document on board and pass the security control.

Obtaining your boarding pass at the airport

To collect your boarding passes at the airport, simply go to the airline’s check-in counter no more than 1.5 hours before the flight time. You must present your plane ticket and valid passport, along with any necessary visas, to the Scoot agent.

If you don’t have any baggage to check in and have already printed your boarding pass, you can skip this step.

However, if you need to collect your boarding pass and check your baggage, you must go to the check-in counter. A queue may form at this first point, as passengers on your flight, as well as those traveling to other destinations, also go through this step. Take this opportunity to prepare your plane ticket or reservation number and your identity documents.

The receptionist will check you in and issue your boarding pass. But first, you must present your baggage to be checked in. A few checks are carried out, particularly regarding its weight and dimensions. If it exceeds the standards set by the airline, you will have to pay an additional fee before your boarding pass is issued.
