Scoot is positioning itself as a new challenger on three new routes connecting its Changi hub to three major destinations in Asia.
The three new routes announced by the Singaporean low-cost carrier include one that began service on December 15th, connecting Changi to Okinawa, Japan, with three weekly flights operated on Sundays, Mondays, and Wednesdays using A321neo aircraft at the following times: Outbound flight at 2:15 AM (arriving at 8:20 AM). Return flight at 9:20 AM (arriving at 1:45 PM).
The two other flights announced by Scoot will be inaugurated in January and March 2026 to:
Chiang Rai: Starting January 1, 2026, the Thai destination will benefit from five weekly flights operated every day of the week (except Sunday and Wednesday) using 112-seat E190-E2 aircraft, departing at 4:40 PM (arriving at 6:50 PM). The return flight will depart at 7:25 PM and arrive in Singapore at 11:45 PM.
Tokyo-Haneda: A daily flight will be added to Scoot’s schedule starting in early March, departing from Changi at 5:30 PM (arriving at Haneda around 1:00 AM). The return flight will leave Japan at 2:15 AM and land at Changi at 8:30 AM.
