Low-cost airline Scoot has announced the launch of an interline platform powered by technology provider Dohop.
This new service allows Scoot customers to travel conveniently by planning itineraries with connections scheduled by airlines that have a partnership or codeshare agreement with Scoot, all from a single location.
Scoot’s new interline platform leverages Dohop’s API technology, which automatically generates the best flight options and fares for the airline’s customers through a unified booking process based on their departure and arrival airports.
Scoot’s destination network in Europe expands
Thanks to this new partnership with Dohop, Scoot passengers will be offered a wide range of destination choices, particularly in Europe (more than 30 additional destinations, between European and Indonesian cities).
Calvin Chan, Chief Commercial Officer of Scoot, said: “The launch of our new platform illustrates our shared goal: to deliver unparalleled connectivity to our valued passengers. Through our successful collaboration with Dohop, we are excited to offer even more choice and flexibility to those looking to explore new destinations, particularly in Europe, as quickly and easily as possible.”
“Aligning with Dohop is a smart move as it will significantly expand our brand reach,” he added.
Sarah Hanan, Chief Commercial Officer of Dohop, commented: “We are very pleased to enter into a partnership with Scoot, through which we hope to help Scoot offer even greater convenience and destination choice to its passengers.”
