Sixteen years have passed since the creation of the joint venture between Singapore Airlines and the Lufthansa Group, and today, this joint venture welcomes a new member: Brussels Airlines.
This new agreement, signed on October 6, 2025, with the Belgian airline, aims to increasingly facilitate travel for customers of the three airlines. Singapore Airlines customers now have access to several destinations offered by Brussels Airlines, served by the Singaporean operator, thanks to this codeshare agreement.
This reciprocal codeshare agreement is of the freeflow type. That is, each airline has access to all the seats on the aircraft and can sell them on its own terms, within the limits of the commercial policy agreements agreed between the partners.
Singapore Airlines welcomes the establishment of this partnership
Specifically, the new agreement with Brussels Airlines allows Singapore Airlines to offer its customers codeshare flights on several routes to Europe, including Berlin, Copenhagen, Lisbon, Madrid, Oslo, and Vienna.
“As a Star Alliance member airline, Singapore Airlines and its partner Lufthansa are honored to establish this codeshare agreement with Brussels Airlines today. This agreement will allow us to expand our destination network in Europe,” said Goh Choon Phong, CEO of Singapore Airlines.
