Scoot, a subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, has revised its rewards chart to offer KrisFlyer frequent flyer program members more value, benefits, and options.
A new rewards scale has been introduced
KrisFlyer members traveling on Scoot routes can now book seats starting at 1500 miles. Previously, the number of miles required to book an award ticket depended primarily on the airfare, and passengers would typically use their miles to reduce the cost of their booking.
The new rewards scale includes more booking classes eligible for points accumulation, including the Scoot Saver or Scoot Advantage fare.
“The enhanced Scoot rewards program allows KrisFlyer members to better leverage their miles to book flights to the most popular destinations in our network, such as Bangkok, Tokyo, Melbourne, and many others,” said Calvin Chan, the low-cost airline’s chief commercial officer.
