Scoot Expands Its Winter Service from Changi Airport. The Singaporean low-cost carrier launched its first flight to Chiang Rai, Thailand, on January 1st.
Scoot operates five weekly flights on this international route, deploying its 112-seat Embraer E190-E2 aircraft every weekday (except Sunday and Wednesday) to Mae Fah Luang Airport.
The launch of this route is part of a broader strategy adopted by Scoot to strengthen its connections in the Southeast Asia region.
Several other new routes are expected from Scoot during 2026. Some are already confirmed, such as flights connecting Changi to Delhi, Mumbai, and Chennai in India. The Singaporean low-cost carrier also plans to extend its services to Manila in the Philippines.
Scoot’s long-haul network will also need to be expanded with new routes such as flights to Rome in Italy, Vienna in Austria and Barcelona in Spain.
