Scoot postpones the resumption of its flights to Jeddah

Scoot Airlines is not expected to resume flights to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, before the end of this month.

While the Singaporean low-cost carrier announced the suspension of all its flights between Singapore Changi and Jeddah King Fahd last March due to the political conflict in the Middle East, passengers had hoped for a return to normal service this week. However, Scoot has issued a statement specifying that the resumption of its two flights, TR796 and TR797, is postponed beyond June 20.

Scoot also stated that passengers with confirmed reservations on these flights have the option of a free change to their departure date, rebooking on another Scoot flight at an equivalent fare, or receiving a full refund.

For passengers who booked through a third-party agency, it is the agency’s responsibility to initiate the change or cancellation process with the airline.
