This decision speaks volumes about Singapore Airlines’ ambitions in Saudi Arabia. Singapore’s national airline has just announced a partnership agreement with SAL Saudi Logistics Services to manage its ground and air cargo operations at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.
This agreement allows Singapore Airlines to benefit from SAL’s expertise to enhance the quality of its ground handling and air cargo operations in Saudi Arabia.
A partnership that meets international standards:
By choosing SAL, Singapore Airlines is entrusting its cargo and ground handling services at Riyadh Airport to a Saudi market leader that operates at 18 airports across the Kingdom – with major hubs in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, and Medina – and manages a portfolio of more than 160 clients.
For SAL, its partnership with a carrier of Singapore Airlines’ stature serves as a testament to its credibility. According to Omar bin Talal Hariri, the group’s CEO: ” Partnering with a world-renowned carrier like Singapore Airlines attests to the quality and reliability of our services. Through this agreement, we are committed to delivering world-class operational standards that support the growth of the aviation and logistics sector in the Kingdom on the one hand, and strengthen its position as a global hub for transportation and logistics in line with Vision 2030 on the other”.
