Scoot plans to strengthen its presence and services to Subang Jaya in Malaysia, following the agreement signed with the government of the West Asian country.

The Singaporean low-cost airline will increase the number of seats on the Changi-Subang Jaya route, following the success and excellent results recorded on this route during the current year.

The Singapore Airlines subsidiary operates more than one daily flight between these two major Asian cities, aboard its A320.

“We are very pleased to be able to strengthen our presence in the skies over Subang, with convenient daytime schedules.” said Leslie Thng, CEO of Scoot.

In total, ten destinations will be offered this winter to passengers departing from the Malaysian airport: Langkawi, Kuching, Kota Kinabalu, Ipoh, Melaka, Miri, Kuantan, Penang, and Sibu.

Other new destinations are confirmed for the winter season

Alongside this new development, Scoot will also expand its offering in Southeast Asia in winter by offering its customers three new destinations: Okinawa and Haneda in Japan, and Chiang Rai in Thailand.
