Starting next winter, Singapore Airlines passengers will be able to enjoy a new experience when traveling on the national airline’s state-of-the-art Boeing 737 MAX 8s.
Singapore Airlines has decided to expand its flights operated by Boeing 737 MAX 8s, replacing its older Boeing 737-800s.
The Singaporean carrier already has 16 narrow-body aircraft, with a capacity of up to 210 passengers, divided into two travel classes.
Starting this winter, Singapore Airlines passengers will be able to fly to 26 destinations aboard this state-of-the-art aircraft, which features wider seats for a more comfortable journey.
List of destinations operated from Changi by Boeing 737 MAX 8: Bali, Bengaluru, Brunei, Busan, Cebu, Chengdu, Chennai, Chongqing, Cochin, Kolkata, Da Nang, Darwin, Guangzhou, Hanoi, Hyderabad, Kathmandu, Kuala Lumpur, Medan, Penang, Phnom Penh, Phuket, Shenzhen, Siem Reap, Surabaya, Xiamen, and Yangon.
Seats that combine lightness, advanced ergonomics, and functionality
In Business Class, the 737 MAX seats feature a greater recline and can be converted to a fully flat sleeping position.
Each seat features touchscreen controls for full enjoyment of the in-flight entertainment system, several personal lighting options, seat dividers, a shoe storage area, a footrest, and more.
Also note that both cabins of the Boeing 737 MAX 8 are equipped with high-speed connectivity, among the fastest in the sky.
